2006 Echelon Pinot Noir, L’île de Beauté, Corsica, France, $16.45, tasted 2/25/2009.
A pleasant nose of elderberries with spicy and earthy notes. Light-medium fruit with a little complexity on a medium finish dominated by velvety tannins. The Raymond Rating = 84 points.
